What you should regret is making the same false comment on the previous two threads despite being pointed out that it wasn't released until a month or two ago, let alone be $600; AND, that it was the last year's model. This is the third time you're being corrected, and I hope it's the last.

This thing is barely cheaper than a 32gb MacBook Air when it's on sale. And the MBA is better in every way except the screen.

Is there any advantage to getting this Snapdragon-based laptop over a Ryzen? There is a similar spec Yoga with a Ryzen 7 445 with 24GB RAM and a lower tier OLED that's on sale for $1199.

The X2 series are the highest efficiency CPUs now. Many drawbacks though. Less common apps don't work and the integrated GPUs suck.

I love my Snapdragon X1 version of this laptop. This is a good price for an upgraded processor and memory. Tempting...

Nope, MBA is not "better" in every way except the screen.

My 2 minutes of Google Assistant research suggests that the two processors have meaningfully different use cases-- this one should be superior for battery life and actually faster when doing normal office work that doesn't involve graphics. But for things involving graphics, the Ryzens are better.
That Lenovo seems quite comparable to the Asus Zenbook, which when on sale is cheaper for comparable specs (and much lighter). I don't think I would buy Asus after my prior experience though. I've been sitting on useless Best Buy credit for close to a year now.

Except the fact that the MBA is an Apple product.

Some applications are not compatible with Snapdragon. No wonder these laptops are on sale most of the time.
