For reference - In April I bought 1 Platinum for our driver ($230) and "fun cards" for the rest of the fam.
That $387 is what they will re-bill you at if you forget to turn off auto-renew... which you can/should do immediately after buying.
SW SD is usually the cheapest of the United Parks Platinum passes - but if you're buying it to use at a different park, keep in mind the guest passes only work here in SD.
