Was at lowes looking for insect spray. I bought one of these sprayer bottles to try. Hows it compare to Spectracide? The concentrate was on sale too but I grabbed the spectracide since I know it works.

Basically both are in the same chemical family. They are both pyrethroids. If your looking to rotate and break insect chemical resistance you would have to choose a treatment with a different MOA (mode of action) Special note about diy homeowners insect treatments. Both use products with the active ingredient word ending in "thrin". Same class of chemicals. " Thrin" chemical treatments are fast acting but have short half life's. They also are considered the agent orange of the insect world. They wipe out all insects. Beneficial insects and nuisance insects. Pyrethroids are highly toxic to butterflies, bees, and other pollinators.
