This is a fantastic deal. I know they ran this same deal a few weeks ago but I missed it.
I was able to get 2 pair of the Brikenstock Arizona Oiled Leather Unisex Shoes for $76 each. List for those is $140 so they were almost half off.

Timely. My old Arizona sandals have cracked through the footbed and I was contemplating sending them somewhere for repair. Now I'll have a replacement or backup pair no matter what.

I tried on Birkenstocks many years back and found the footbed hard and painful. I have a pair of Goodfellow Suede Sandals from Target that I enjoy. Do they make that much of a difference?

The cork and leather break in and form to your foot over time, just trying on for a few minutes out of the box isn't really representative of how they'll feel after a week or two breaking them in. Wear them with socks, for short intervals around the house, until they start to conform to your feet and loosen up.

They also sell a "soft footbed" option now that is supposed to be more comfortable without any required break in period, but some people report that it's less durable.

these look hideous, which is probably why they don't show them on a human foot.
why would anyone want a sandal without a backstrap - these would slip right off.
