The $751.33 price is for the 1900wh capacity model. Not the 2048wh. That one starts at $889.26 before the discount.

idk how accurate but based on Google AI, they are the same hardware. The 1900 is model EFD329 whereas the other is EFD350. The 1900 apparently was specific to QVC and other online distributors as part of a bundle but have the same battery and capacity.

I have the 2048wh and am happy with it (with a few panels on my patio, mainly for 2 x fridge backup and solar lights).

Would this be a good option for running a fridge in a blackout / emergency power in an emergency? Or would a bigger model be recommended?

Yes, this will work to run a fridge. I use mine as a fridge UPS and general home backup (lights, fans, window AC if needed). For added capacity, you can buy server batteries or golf cart batteries, buy/make a modded cable, and the ecoflow will detect it as an OEM expansion battery. Cheapest way to add capacity and you can buy more and stack as you expand. You just need to make sure the inverter in the power station has enough wattage to run what you need to run.

I have a 48v 100ah Humsienk battery, which basically adds 5.12kwh capacity, but the power station can still only output 2400w(4800w) of power. I can keep adding batteries to expand capacity but inverter can only output the same power. Hope that makes sense.

Careful... EcoFlow support is terrible. I have had two Delta 2s die. Working on a warranty claim now and they are trying to force me in to accepting a downgrade as they don't have any stock of normal Delta 2s (even though they are in stock on their website).

Probably trying to get you to take a refurbished unit as a replacement.

Worse, they are trying to get me to take a Delta 2 Lite as a replacement for the Delta 2. It has 7% less capacity.

Where can you find the details of this cable? I feed my solar input with spare 12V batteries, but it's only 12V, so like 120W backup

Any expansion battery will need to be seen as 48V nom (51.2V) and needs to be Lifepo4 to match the internal power station battery. The charger in the power station balances and charges both so voltage and type have to match.

The 'official' cable is made by WattCycle but it's $70.

There are a few YouTube videos and reddit posts about making one. It's essentially just a resistor between 2 of the pins. The other 2 pins are power and return from the battery. It gets slightly more confusing because I think the actual pin numbers are different between a few of the power station models or connectors.

I have this + expansion battery + alternator charger from Costco, and it died within a year of very light use (power outage) as unit won't hold charge. Was very easy to return (save your boxes) and got a refurbed but working unit back. App not great and quality has not been as rock steady as my Bluetti's (Apex 300, Elite 100, Elite 70v2), but this is a decent price assuming it's new and directly Ecoflow with full US warranty. Only thing with similar specs as this price right now is probably the Oupes Mega2, and I would probably choose this over Oupes since I don't want another hardly use app, but would splurge a little more for a Pecon F3000.
