Can I ask what is her use case? I am thinking of buying it to use as a fan while I am on the treadmill; I am doing 50 minute sessions at 7% incline and 3.8-4 mph and I sweat a lot. Do you think it might work?

This is pretty directed so the airstream is pretty narrow. And you might not be able to mount it anywhere. Consider getting a fan for baby carriages. They have clips and flexible legs to secure onto treadmill handles.

A good thing about this model is that the USB port if on the side. That means of you use it while charging, you can aim the head up. The one I have has the port in back of the head, making it impossible to angle toward my face when charging.

Bought to try one. A bit noisier than expected, even on the lowest setting (1%). Not sure how long it'll hold up. I'll probably keep it though since I got it at 40% off.
