Found some clearance Switch OLED for $249.99 at my local Walmart. Seems to be in-store only. With the increased prices seems like a good deal if you can find one.

It is now after you edited it. It was showing $400
No, it's listed in the post at $249.99. The SD post assistant auto filled the title price at MSRP/400.

Just as info, I have no ability to edit anybody else's posts or deals. I was merely sharing the details listed by OP.

That's fine. When I clicked the post it had the MSRP $400 so that's why I asked the clearance price

Anyone seeing inventory even claimed in their area? I'm guessing these could be tough to locate given that in the best case they're locked in a... display case LMAO
Was this the case for the op?

Otherwise any indicated inventory might be shrink/lost or is subject to the whims of support from a retail employee.

Good luck!
Jon

Two minty boxes behind a case in my local store with a yellow clearance tag. Well, now one Smilie

How's this not the regular price now? Aren't they trying to sell Switch 2?

People were still buying them well enough. Oleds have a decent pull as well because of the screen.

Local WM only has the OLED with white controllers. Employee said these aren't marked down. I should have asked him to scan one, just to humor me. But I didn't think about it, til I got back home.

What was the best way to find in person stock for Walmart? Back in the day I used brickseek but after they changed the website I stopped using it--can't remember if it was less accurate or paywalled

I haven't heard of one. WM site used to have a way to check stock, but that no longer works, either. Makes one wonder if there is a connection between Brickseek paywall and WM change on website. Brickseek is $8.33 monthly - billed annually. Or $9.99 month by month pay.
There is a store 20 miles from me that shows the Switch oled, with blue & red joycons, in stock. I am debating whether it's worth the chance or not.
