Can anyone comment on the titanium rollers blade vs. regular standard blade?

You tried pre-electric shave? and post shave I imagine? If not, the pre-electric will definitely help smooth the skin.

As far as I can tell, the regular Arc 5 has plastic rollers and this version uses Titanium rollers and is targeted at people with more sensitive skin. I don't know if the Titanium feature and the base station are worth the extra price, but this seems like a decent deal if you consider $109 is the new Frontpage sale price for just the regular non-titanium Arc 5 razor with no base station. I'm thinking finally about replacing my 20 year old Braun that's still kicking (holds a charge for 2 weeks of M-F morning use) but starting to have intermittent charger connection issues.

What do you mean pre electric shave? Do you mean a razor?

Product called 'Lectric Shave' or something similar. A lubricant you put on your face before and after shaving.

We have a several year older version of this. No titanium. The replacement blades are expensive, and hard to tell if they are genuine. The base station is great. We rinse the blades with warm water after every shave. When the battery gets down to 30 or 40%, we rinse them out in the base to do the full blade cleaning and charge the shaver. It comes out nice and clean and smelling good. We only use distilled water in there with the packet of Panasonic solution. We let it go longer than they say and wash the base and replace the liquid when it gets the low fluid error. Overall, very happy with this. Considering getting a whole new one.

Just an FYI. I seem to recall reading that most faces have to get used to electric shavers. supposedly it takes a couple of weeks to adjust. I think it alluded to it even shaved better after your face adjust. I read this a long time ago so I'd check into if I were you. It never irritated my skin but I still use a 5 blade deal. I just can't get this close with electric but I'm thinking about this one.

I use it on my head instead and that's where I get the irritation. I had to return the last deal to Panasonic.
