I saw an ad campaign on FBMP and signed up, seems to be legit for Cali residents!
Apparently you connect your vehicle account to smartcar(plaid for smart car apps) and it passes the charging session data to this govt sponsored program. For every kWh dispensed outside of your "home address" between 10AM-3PM, you get 20 cents back up to $15/mo plus $25 signup bonus with invite code.
The trick is to change your home address to somewhere you wouldn't typically charge. I guess it's a campaign to not waste renewal stored energy or something idk.

I do hear that charging rebate does cap at 15/mo despite metrics reporting higher earnings, so for people wondering if they'd get paid over 15, probably only just 15 plus 25 signup bonus
