ive bought 3 of these "Grade A" refurb iphones from Amazon. 1 as a gift and the screen had a mind of its own. returned.... The other 2 had been repaired with knock off parts. One was a knockoff battery and the other was a touch screen controller. You may get lucky but dont sell your old phone until you do at least one IOS update. Its a gamble for sure. Returns with a 3rd party is shitsville too.

They come from various phone refurb/repair stores/operations all over the country. Most seem from NY area. Amazon has nothing to do with them except take a cut of the sale.

These are trade ins and really old. You are better off buying individually graded phones where can see the actual phone pictures..
Inspected = it turned on

These Grade A Apple refurb deals can deliver near new-looking iPhones and Watches, especially on newer models like the 16e, 16 Plus, and some 15 and 12 units that arrived with 100 percent battery, clean cosmetics, and working features. The strongest value callouts are the iPhone 12 and 13 family, with the 13 Mini praised for battery and performance and the 15 Plus and 16e standing out for USB C. The main cautions are battery health below 80 percent, scratches or cracked backs, and occasional third party parts or repair warnings. A few units also arrived with missing functionality or demo labeling, so condition seems to depend heavily on the individual device.

Bought 2 iPhone before and they both had issues with screen. Screen was not 180 degree flat and screen protector was not getting installed properly. Returned both. Looks like these phones are not grade A. I'd rather prefer to buy used from Amazon with a reputed seller like Verizon.

The battery percentage everyone referring to is regarding the battery's health, not whether it charges to 100% or not.
In settings, under battery, it gives specifics about its battery, one of them is the battery's health, the higher the number, the more healthier it is.
Thank you for sharing that. Mine shows Maximum Capacity of 85%. Is the 20% off code still working today?

Same here. Got iPhone 16e. Scratches on screen & back. Not the worst, but also not Grade A. Maybe Grade B at best. Not sure if I should return.
Sent from Kiss Electronics NYC, and not Woot, but understandable. Hopefully, it's not a Frankenstein one, where bunch of parts from dead phone were put together.
