Mine is set to renew July 2.
Went to account, clicked walmart+ button at top, clicked cancel membership. Immidiately saw 5 minute timer, clicked redeem offer. My renewal date still shows July 2nd, but now there's '$49' displayed next to it. I assume it'll use my card on file.
Oh, then I received an email verifying it'll renew at $49.
Im impressed how easy they made it.

I don't use grocery delivery quite frequently enough to justify $99 but for $49 I think it's worth it.
