Just FYI to those interested...
Good in theory, but horrible reviews. I would be hesitant and double checking everything well if purchasing.
If it's expensive enough to want tracking, why not spend a bit more and get something that will connect to many people's devices (airtag)?? These Dewalt ones look like they'll ONLY connect to the device it's setup with which means you only know if it leaves the 100ft radius, airtags and similar devices will actually give you tracking and not just "it's gone."

This. These bluetooth tags are ONLY good for finding where on a jobsite you left your tools, but if someone walks OFF the jobsite with your tools , its gone forever. Plus the pockets where these devices hide is blatantly obvious on all dewalt tools, so anyone with a brain who is stealing tools can quickly remove any tags (airtag or dewalt BT tag) with nothing more than a screwdriver.

So inventorying your massive amounts of tools is what these are meant for, NOT for geo locating theft, as its obvious where the trackers will be as its built into the base of the dewalt tools.
