Good in theory, but horrible reviews. I would be hesitant and double checking everything well if purchasing.
If it's expensive enough to want tracking, why not spend a bit more and get something that will connect to many people's devices (airtag)?? These Dewalt ones look like they'll ONLY connect to the device it's setup with which means you only know if it leaves the 100ft radius, airtags and similar devices will actually give you tracking and not just "it's gone."

So inventorying your massive amounts of tools is what these are meant for, NOT for geo locating theft, as its obvious where the trackers will be as its built into the base of the dewalt tools.
