Seems solid, but will there be a comparable deal during Prime Days for the model with the built-in cable?

I own the one without the cable, and find it to be a superior product.

...and I've tried a lot of these. There was a lot of thought put into this particular device.

I may buy another...and part of its appeal to me is that there is no cable.

Understood. Not having a cable is not a deal killer for me, but it is intriguing it can potentially be used to charge 3 devices at a time with the cabled version.

chances are yeah. Deals will be better on prime day. But if this is what you need i suggest you buy it then just return if a better one comes along.
