I like rain to fall asleep to, but something small like this is going to sound like bacon frying in a pan, unless someone has experience stating otherwise.

This had rain mode and works well. About 3-4 in diameter so the sounds is relatively full. Even better if you place it in a bowl. Can run about 20 hrs at full vol between chares.

I do not like the sound that comes out of these. It is tinny and almost worse than not having one to me. I typically use a LectroFan classic but got this for travel and was disappointed.

Lectrofan micro is good for travel, however it is very expensive for what it is.

I have the little "pod" egg for travel and the kid uses the egg with the digital display every night. Both sound great for the price and a bunch of sound options
