I purchased a similar item on Amazon to try and pull black mustard weeds. Failed to do the job. It could not get the prongs around the root well or it just didn't grab the roots properly. In any event, didn't work.

This type of weed puller is good for weeds with a single center root. It wouldn't work for Bermuda grass runners. I have the Grandpa's brand and it's been great for crabgrass
