Only have four issues....
1 Ryzen 7 7735HS
2. The GPU (680M)
3. The price
4. M.2 hard drive

The main problem is you are so damn close to the next CPU in the AMD line up and the next CPU has a HUGE JUMP in GPU power with the 780M which can play the newest AAA titles on lower setting... but playable. The CPU which I feel is at this price point is the 7840HS and the 8745HS.

Do you notice how the OP leaves out the GPU info?

THE PRICE... I find I can find a 8745HS which has that 780M GPU for about the same price... EVEN CHEAPER on Ebay.

And the RAM.... 24GB 5500MHz LPDDR5 RAM... I would much rather prefer 16GB of exchangeable RAM and DDR5 5600 is faster the LPDDR5 5500. I have upgraded my memory for two laptops in the past and I updated them at year 5 of ownership... who knows what RAM prices will be in five years.

The last thing I will add is the add never tells us what hard drive generation they are using. It can use m.2 gen 3 and gen 4. Lets all presume it is a gen 3 had drive.

Really? Do you see yourself using oculink?

If you were a gamer, you would buy a better CPU combo.

Your comments were illogical and unhelpful to people before and just repeating them again won't make them helpful. Your personal preferences don't reflect to every single buyer out there. If you have found better and reliable deals out there, then feel free to post them separately instead of going on threads and announcing it.
Also, I have clearly mentioned the 680M graphics and the type of SSD in the specs already, so what other GPU information did you even need me to mention? Your comment lost the little credibility it had after that.
The other person just asked a simple question about Oculink to which you rambled every unnecessary thing than to answer the actual question. Do better and be actually helpful. Thanks.

Just calling it how it is.... and please explain me this.... why kind of buyer wants to get less for their money? Who would want to spend more money on something that not as good as less expensive items.

Just because this has 24GB of RAM to me that it is soldered is a negative, not a positive.

Bought this exact model for my highschool daughter a few months back when it was on sale at $380 and I was generally disappointed in its build quality. In the first few days the power brick had issues, with a symptom of not powering on unless we had to unplug and replug the AC plug. I decided not to return & exchange it due to the hassle of reinstalling programs and moving data, and instead changed the ac power adapter myself. Just a couple days ago, the wifi adapter stopped working. The device was recognized with driver properly installed, but it couldn't recognize any wifi network. So I had to buy a new wifi/bt m.2 card which will arrive tomorrow. Maybe we had a bad luck with a lemon, but some cautious tale to share...

A quick eBay search for me only turns up barebones 8745HS systems (no RAM/SSD) for cheaper than the OP's system (at least for new, not sure about used), but if you found a full system cheaper than this, feel free to post the link. Full systems seem to run around $600 or so for me.

Obviously the 780M is faster than the previous-generation 680M, but the 680M is what I would consider the big generational leap over its predecessor (or the inexplicably awful 660M) and the minimum AMD iGPU I'd recommend anyone consider. I've used it to play reasonably demanding games like Satisfactory and Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries as long as you're realistic about detail settings and resolution, and if you just want to play casual games like Slay the Spire, it's more than enough. If you're prioritizing playing AAA games, yeah, I'd look at something faster.

And why blame the OP for leaving out the iGPU info when it's not separately listed on the product page? Anyone who really cares about the fact that it has a 680M would probably know that that's what comes with a 7735HS anyway.
