Highly acclaimed for providing value option from Walmart, the Ozark trail line has come out with a new eMTB, that is about 1/2 the cost of other "budget" eMTBs. Available in small, medium, large size. Shimano cues drivetrain, disk brakes, mid drive motor, decent front shock. Great reviews and value for the price for trails and non performance riding.

Double the sale price of the hyper mid emtb they used to sell
This is a comparison of the lowest cost eMtbs, not necessarily class 1 vs class 3, or mid drive vs hub ( junk). REI will have closeouts at $2k ish, I have never seen a mid drive with, decent Shimano drivetrain, aluminum frame, entry level front shock, and a dropper post, with hidden cabling, decent tires, LiON battery at anything less than $2k. I would say, the Ramblas is the closet to this bike at 2x the price. It certainly has better parts, stronger motor, but unless you are doing 50+ mile rides, you dont need the bigger battery. At $1298, this is a steal, if the build quality is anything like the other Ozark trail bikes, which have really good reviews. All the features, without the name brand markup. Of course, Santa Cruz, specialized, and others make insanely great bikes with superb fit and finish at 4x-8x the price.
