Part of the unrelenting barrage of SD Klein staff picks. Klein has a large US footprint for fine tools, but they do not manufacture this product.

I'm going to be honest with you guys I bought these several months ago and finally used them this week to set up some exercise equipment and it SUCKED. The spring tension is super high and trying to use them with a ratchet was nearly impossible unless you hold the ratchet by the head and push down pretty hard. To be fair it was the largest size socket so possibly the small ones have lighter spring but man I was so damn frustrated. I was also using a 0 degree ratchet and the way the mechanism works to switch on/off kept getting triggered by my holding it there. If you use these horizontally with an impact wrench where you're leaning into it maybe it's better? But they're definitely not an every situation socket. I was just to lazy to go outside to my workshop to get my normal pass thrus although I really wish I had. The time/effort savings on assembly would have negated going outside to get them.

"just to lazy to go outside" and "to set up some exercise equipment" made me LOL. But I get your point. 😄
