As an adult, I dont know why a kid would have these. They are 100% running shoes only, casual walking for standing are terrible. They're literally platform running shoes. I wouldn't recommend them for children.

I agree these are not appropriate for school. I'm not sure whether these are good for cross country or if they are paved roads only. My 10 year old runs and trains for 5ks but I'm not sure he would like the feel of these shoes vs traditional running shoes (Saucony Kinvara). I would defer to a youth running coach before buying these.

As an adult, i use these mostly for walking like grocery store, going to zoo, anything im going to be up on my feet walking most of day, best shoes better than all of the airmaxes iv had all the full bubble ones etc 90s too

We really should not be talking Hight.

This shoe is special... it is for FAT KIDS... those OBESE KIDS that don't move around much. Most people walk by taking one step at a time. With these shoes you no longer think like that... you think... when you walk you talk ONE SQUISH at a time.

These are the best shoes for kids that have arthritis or just REALLY really FAT kids.
