I haven't used this Soleyin stuff before. But 12 rolls with some unique colors, including a mix of PLA/PETG for $107.65 after taxes. Nice deal from a good brand.

I bought 12 rolls about a year ago when it was also on sale for about $7 a roll and all I can say is this stuff is HORRIBLE. It absorbs moisture faster then anything I've ever seen. Like within 3 or 4 days in a 45% humidity basement it was unusable and had to be dried out. It also doesn't dry like PLA......needed 12 hours on a PETG setting or it would be stringy. Add to that each color acted differently and needed different flow settings to print well. Plus out of the 12 rolls 1 was constantly tangling to the point I threw it away and a second would get caught a lot although I did manage to use it by manually unrolling 50 foot sections at a time.. If you have a LOT of time on your hands to fiddle with it then go for it.

Here is a before and after drying photo I took: https://imgur.com/a/hgT66kk I've never seen filament string as much as this. But like I said once it's super dry and you flow calibrate it then it's ok. Not great but usable. But within 3 days of it sitting out it started stringing again and had to be dried again.

Oh, and about each color being different I will say the "Greenery" gave me the least issues, printed well, and looked good for Minecraft creepers. Rosehip and Matte Black were fine also. Pinapple Yellow, Rosestone, and 3 piece moonstone were the worst by far to the point I threw then out once I got down to about half a roll.

If you're cheap buy some Sunlu. If your not buy some Bambu while they are having their bulk sale. Stay away from this crap.

Soleyin is not a good filament, its not "regular" petg/pla. if you are new just avoid it.

This was my experience with the PLA. I would avoid and just spend a few bucks more to save the hassles of interrupted prints and having to pull and clean the nozzle multiple times a print.

Some had very low layer adhesion and high bed adhesion. Really bad combination when I would break things taking them off the bed.

I have over 500 rolls of filament at home currently, have gone through a ton of brands and various filaments, this is by far the worst filament I have ever used and you literally couldn't pay me to use it. I did everything possible to make this good as I bought quantity the 1st time it was on sale... dialing in, drying, various printers etc.

Yes, Creality does make some good filament, but this is not it.

I ended up attempting to do a refund. eBay makes you do it per roll, total pain. I stopped after 3, planning to do the rest later.

The seller contacted me and offered me a refund to keep the items. I told them I wanted to return it all and got offered a $27 refund... so along with a credit card deal, I got 12 roll (6 PLA, 6 PETG) for around $67.... $5.50ish a roll, thankfully I just got unique colors?

If it's truly terrible I'll just shelve it unless I want that unique color. Blah! Lesson learned, I'm nervous to even use it.

Never again. The worst filament I've ever used and I bought about 10 rolls of it. Painful to get through since every print comes out terrible and bed adhesion is so poor.

also bought this stuff a while ago, had a few clogs, probably out of 6 spools, maybe 3 clogs, thats out of the i dunno dozens of prints. I doubt i would buy this again, but if someone handed me a ton of the stuff for free id use it. that said I did buy a small electric precision screwdriver specifically for the purpose of disassembling the hotend/extruder of my p1s, specifically for clearing clogs - its made my tolerance of clogs more bearable.
never had other issues of layer or quality problems though, just some clogs
