I got this used with 99hrs locally for about 1000 less than this, including a 2 yr warranty that transferred, same number and size of batteries but no wall charger. Love it, easy to maintain and cuts fast and clean. I had a notification on for this and would have jumped so fast had I not gotten lucky with the local purchase. I have only seen 1 error thrown and it was because I got it stuck on rocks. If you get this, make sure you are aware of its lack of slope mowing capabilities.
This Greenworks 60V 42 inch zero turn stands out as a quiet, low maintenance electric mower that cuts fast and clean, with enough battery capacity to handle large yards. The included six batteries and wall charger plug directly into the mower, and charging is described as convenient and fairly quick. Real world reports put mowing range around 1.5 to 2.5 acres, with tall grass and rough, rooty terrain handled well. The main caution is slope use, since steep hills are a weak spot and Greenworks lists a 15 degree maximum. It is a strong fit for big, mostly flat properties.
Homeowners with a few acres of mostly flat grass, because it cuts fast and clean, handles 1.5 to 2.5 acres, and stays quiet with low maintenance.
It is not a good choice for steep slopes. Greenworks recommends a maximum 15-degree slope, and owners report it can slide or miss the mark on inclines, so it works better on flatter ground or when mowing carefully up and down mild slopes.
Yes, it can cut tall grass and rough ground well. It has been used on 2.5- to 3.5-foot weeds, 6- to 8-inch fescue, and rooty or bumpy terrain, though the ride can be rough and uneven spots can cause scalping if you approach them poorly.
Real-world runtime is around 1.5 to 2.5 acres depending on grass height, terrain, and battery setup. Reports include about 2 acres in roughly an hour, about 1.5 acres with no problems, and about 2.5 acres on 4 batteries.
Yes. The included wall charger plugs directly into the mower, so the batteries do not need to be removed for charging. The charger is an all-in-one setup that stays on the mower's battery rack.
No. It can operate with as few as three batteries, and it will also run with more batteries installed for longer runtime. The battery compartment has three columns tied to drive, right blade, and left blade functions, so each column needs at least one battery to start.
Do you have a tracking number, or did it not ship at all? Mine was also supposed to be delivered on the 26th but did not arrive. But I have a tracking number and can see that it is currently about 500 miles from my location. If you have a tracking number, I wouldn't cancel your order.
I finally called Walmart customer service. The guy said that the tracking number showed that it was in my city and on a truck out for delivery. There is no tracking number on the order status. It still says "Delayed, check back for updates". I asked if they would call me before attempting delivery. He said he would call them to make sure that they did. I don't have a great deal of confidence at this point. I'm sitting here at the house waiting to make sure I don't miss the delivery attempt. We will see.

I wouldn't hold my breath for delivery today. Probably won't see it till Monday.
Well this was a frustratingly poor experience. The CSR that told me it was on a truck and out for delivery straight up lied. The mower was never shipped. I waited for the call that never came. Eventually I called them back. The CSR said they were out of stock and it was never shipped. I asked for the issue to be escalated. He put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on me. I used the chat customer service and was told the same thing. They asked if I wanted the order canceled. I told them absolutely not. 20 minutes later I get a text that my order was canceled at my request. I called back one more time and got allot of apologies and a $25 coupon. They can't reorder it for me. They can't do anything. So sorry. I'm done.

Order placed last Monday scheduled for Thursday delivery and received order delayed message Friday...
Guess i should an update or cancellation today... Anyone else have their order from 6/22 delivered already? Delayed? Cancelled ? (Sorry @Phigment)
My experience is that I placed an order minutes after this deal was posted. That order sat with a status of "placed" for 3 days and did not ship. I had a bad experience with Walmart several years ago where an expensive order got stuck and never shipped. I decided to place a second order from a different account. That order shipped the next day and is currently on its way. The first order never shipped and I canceled it. If your order has a tracking number, you are good. If not, I'm not sure it will ever ship IMO.
Mine was scheduled for delivery today but it never arrived. I called Maersk and was told that the delivery team always calls at least 30 minutes before delivery. I had no missed calls today. Just FYI in case yours doesn't arrive by the estimated delivery date.
I found that there website was slow to update, but I did get a message from Walmart to log in to Maersk for appointment. They then called 45 minutes before delivery, and then the tracking site showed a local number in addition to the toll-free number.

I called Maersk this morning and was given the phone number to the local freight company that would be making the delivery. I called and they confirmed that they received the mower this morning and would be attempting delivery tomorrow. If you have a tracking number, be patient and don't lose hope.

I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience. I suspect the deal was actually a pricing error and they purposely delayed all unshipped orders when they realized their mistake. I say this because they canceled your order without your concurrence, then suddenly the mower comes back in stock at MSRP.
Not to rub it in, but my mower was finally delivered today. I guess you win some and you lose some.

Not a pricing error, this is their normal clearance price for this unit yearly. You can check SD history for record of that.
Unreal to say but I actually got this delivered today. Right from the get-go I could tell it was going to be a cluster cuz I was going through the same thing everybody else was. Every time I got a hold of Walmart customer service they wanted to cancel the order, but I told them absolutely not. Couple weeks ago I got a tracking number with a delivery date of last tuesday. When it's obvious it hadn't even shipped, I got a hold of Walmart customer service and they told me that they would order replacement and I would hear back within 48 hours. Last Thursday I called to get a status update, cuz I never heard back. I was told that the order had no choice but to be canceled, because it was stuck in their system did not give any other option other than refund. That's when I got a little testy with them, and demanded a supervisor but the story never changed. So they said the order would be canceled, and apologize profusely. I figured all was done at that point, until I got a call 2 hours later from a regional delivery company. They said that they would be out in my area on tuesday, which is today, and sure enough it was in my driveway before 9:00 a.m.

So...did you get your mower and a refund? That would be the slickest deal!

Haha thats wild it took so long to get there. I've mowed my yard 3 times with this mower already. Love it so far. I have roughly 1.5 acres and it mows it no problem.
