I've never heard of this type of ice pack. Are they soft like gel ice packs after you freeze them or hard like water ice?

The only people interested in this deal are those who want disposable, lowest per-unit (at any cost) ice packs. They're incredibly wasteful and bad for the environment. They're inconvenient to use and you can't keep them ready to go. I don't even know if they cool long enough to be used by florists, one of the main potential users of disposable ice packs, I would assume. I'm not an ice pack expert, obviously 😆

They freeze solidly, no flexing when frozen. They will sweat when thawing. It is just beads that swell when absorbing water and then you are freezing the swelled water beads. Theoretically reusable but not advised
