For $100 more I'd probably recommend the Costway 18K BTU that was posted in SD recently. 25 SEER2 and 50% more BTUs

its already proven all these kits brand name or not come out of same factory. with the exception of mitsubishi and like 2 other brands which are like quadruple the price yet dont give quadruple the performance or reliability etc. hence why people get the cheapest there is

Entirely dependent on the space you need to cool. Oversizing is not recommended, as these units do not dehumidify well when oversized. Ask me how I know!Use online BTU calculators to figure out the need for your square footage, and oversize only if the room is solar loaded most of the day and on the second floor, etc.
