I just got these and love them for running and working out. Surprisingly good sound plus USB c charging. Got mine open box from BB, turns out it was still new in the box. Great price highly recommend.

I have these, in fact I'm transcribing this post using them right now. I paid about this price about a year and a half ago from best buy. I've had two other prior models, the Shokz Open Run and the Aftershokz Airs and would definitely recommend them for times where situational awareness trumps sound quality (i.e. walking the dog, jogging, riding a bike, etc.). The Pro 2 do have decent sound quality, but will be inferior to traditional headphones. I had a couple warranty claims on my original Open Runs and the company, Shokz, was excellent

They work great. I bought this exact same color from BestBuy twice. I lost my first pair and but the second pair is getting to "battery medium" after 1-2 hours while the previous gen would last for longer

No comparison, any half way decent traditional earbuds will be much better, these are designed to be able to listen to something and also be able to hear everything around you. I love them because I can take care of my kids while listening to podcasts or music. But don't buy these thinking they will be as good or better then sound isolating/ ANC type of earphones

The selling point for me on the 2s are the USBC charging.

I'll gladly pay extra to not have propitiatory charging cables

IMO major differences. Those are essentially OpenRun's - lower than the OpenRun Pro and Pro 2's.
