I don't have this particular model, but I bought the non-propelled version of this 7 years ago and it's still running strong. same blades, same battery. I also have their leaf blower and string trimmer, plus 2 additional batteries. no complaints or issues so far. really good value, at this price

Picked this up to replace an older gas mower and the convenience alone has been worth it. The self-propelled Touch Drive system makes mowing much easier, especially on larger yards or slight inclines, and the 56V battery platform delivers plenty of power for regular lawn maintenance. It starts instantly with the push of a button, runs noticeably quieter than gas models, and eliminates the hassle of fuel, oil changes, and engine maintenance.

The included two 4.0Ah batteries are a nice bonus, providing enough runtime for most residential lawns, and the rapid charger helps minimize downtime. Cut quality is impressive, and the mower feels well-built overall. It's a good deal but don't expect batteries to last that long. I've had my mower 3 years now and the original battery doesn't last through the front yard most of the time now even though I baby it (wait for cool down to recharge, don't leave in garage, etc.). I bought a couple knock-off batteries from Ebay that help me get through but those are junky as well. I only have a 1/3 acre so I don't sweat it but if I had a large yard it would suck. The batteries are the biggest drawback on these Ego mowers. The technology is still not there unless you can swap frequently with a low cost (which you cannot).

I have an 80V dual port Greenworks mower, and it uses the batteries one after another, not at the same time. So I think this is not true for all dual port mowers.

Been using this mower (with a 7.5mAh battery) for almost 7 years now. She's been a great mower and always does the job. The battery still does our front and back yard in one charge even though we've absolutely abused the poor thing. The insane grass we've run this thing through should be against the lawSmilie

Edit: If I had one *tiny* complaint about it, occasionally the self propelled wheels on ours will lock after coming to a stop where it won't roll in neutral. It's always been like that since the day we got it. Making it propel slightly forward a couple of inches will unlock it to roll freely.

that's a decent deal. I still have my 20inch from 2014 release, still works like a charm, even same original batter. Did buy an additional battery, nothing but replacing blades once every other year. File down the blade to sharpen before every mow, it is a champion!

I second this.I have been into ego system for past few years and added blower, trimmer and chainsaw along with mower and am happy with the results

ugh, I would love to know what causes that. as mentioned before I don't use the SP function, but when it won't free roll sometimes it drives me nuts; I feel like I'm hurting the thing pushing with the motor engaged.

I think this is a single slot mower despite coming with two batteries. Ego markets their 2x models as "Peak Power"

That said, I do like my mower. I don't think the mower + battery is really 71 lbs, that might be shipping weight for everything? it's way lighter than my steel deck makita mower is/was. Also feels more powerful.
I've got the 2135SP mower and it is heavier and has more torque. My 7.5ah battery can cut my half acre lawn that is super thick fescue above 4 inches with a little battery to spare. It's relatively flat though so YMMV.
