So yeah, it's quartz, but it's high-end quartz.
To sweeten the deal, Amazon is giving 7% back for delayed shipping with the Prime Visa.

The Bulova Lunar Pilot is a high end quartz chronograph that stands out for its space watch history, sweeping seconds hand, and very strong accuracy, with claims of about plus or minus 10 seconds per year. The 45 millimeter case and long lug to lug make it wear huge, especially on smaller wrists, and the polished case is not to every taste. Bracelet fit can also be tricky on the strap variant. At this price, it reads as a compelling value for a distinctive, accurate chronograph.
The watch uses high-performance quartz with a 4Hz chrono movement and is described as accurate to about ±10 seconds per year.
The watch can deliver a sweeping-seconds look and a 1/10th second chrono hand that outpaces traditional quartz behavior.
The deal can be cheaper after 7% back for no-rush shipping and additional savings from an Amazon credit card credit.
The watch is described as an accurate timekeeping workhorse that draws compliments even as a quartz model.
The 45mm case can feel absolutely massive on wrist and may overhang on smaller wrists.
The lug-to-lug length and pinhole positioning can create fit issues, including a gap when pairing the strap variant with the standard Bulova bracelet.
The polished case finish may not match preferences, since some buyers would prefer a brushed case instead.
Shipping and packaging can fail, including reports of a delivered empty box.
