I guess it's ok for Gibson to do this for years and years, but if Fender does it, it's bad. The counter argument is that Fender just started acting like this, so it's ok to hate that. I'm missing the logic here. Did the statute of limitations run out? Also, did any big name strat artists drop out? Clapton, Townshend, Gilmour etc?
