This is a milk and soy protein product. If you're female, don't worry about it. If you're a male, soy is a phytoestrogen (isoflavones like genistein and daidzein). These bind to estrogen receptors in the body since they are similar, and so trigger the body's response just as if you had ingested estrogen hormone.

There was a case in Texas for example where an otherwise reasonably fit man developed full on breasts and was emotionally unstable, and they couldn't find anything wrong with him. Finally they looked at his diet in detail and found that he was drinking one of those half gallon of Silk milk substitute A DAY!

Is that an extreme case? Absolutely, but as a man if you can avoid consuming phytoestrogens, you should.
LOL...."tHeRe wAs a cAsE In tExAs." 1/3 of a billion people in the US and we are citing a single (likely taken well out of context) case to condemn all milk and soy products? Oh, and he was drinking HALF A GALLON per day? So clearly wasn't "reasonably fit" nor sounds overly "emotionally stable" if he can't even do a basic part of the human existence normally...eating in moderation. Reminds me of the British guy who went blind from eating Bologna and Pringles. That was his entire diet for a decade but according to your logic that means pork and potatoes cause blindness...

You are probably 1,000,000 times (literally) more likely to die from the lactose in this drink however lets rant about something you heard on a podcast from a person who likely had male breasts (from obesity) to begin with.

*Lets not even talk about the fact that soy is a huge part of the human diet and has been for the last 10,000-ish years. Milk too.

It's not nonsense. For most men, it should be totally fine. In some cases, you should limit it. Probably more so as you get older

After he discontinued drinking soy milk, his breast tenderness resolved and his estradiol concentration slowly returned to normal.
Like I said, did he consume way too much soy drink? Absolutely, and smaller amounts wouldn't have had such a dramatic effect. But erectile dysfunction and breast growth in a male that drank a lot of soy makes me prefer to just not drink soy.

I also like shorter ingredient lists, like look at Muscle Milk 33G protein ingredients and uses natural sugar like Stevia over artificial cancer inducing like Sucralose that Premier uses:

Muscle Milk Ingredients: Ultrafiltered milk, Carrageenan, Cellulose Gel, Cellulose Gum, Natural Flavor, Stevia, Sodium Citrate, Vitamin A, Vitamin D3.

vs

Premier Protein ingredients: Water, Milk Protein Concentrate†, Calcium Caseinate†, Contains less than 1% of High Oleic Sunflower Oil or Soybean Oil, Natural and Artificial flavors, Inulin, Cellulose Gel and Cellulose Gum, Salt, Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium, Carrageenan, Tripotassium Phosphate, Dipotassium Phosphate, Sodium Hexametaphosphate, Vitamin and Mineral Blend (Dl-alpha-tocopheryl Acetate [Vitamin E], Zinc Glycinate Chelate, Ferric Orthophosphate, Vitamin A Palmitate, Niacinamide, Phytonadione [Vitamin K1], Potassium Iodide, Cholecalciferol [Vitamin D3], Copper Gluconate, Calcium D-Pantothenate, Manganese Sulfate, Sodium Selenite, Biotin, Sodium Molybdate, Folic Acid, Thiamine Mononitrate [Vitamin B1], Cyanocobalamin [Vitamin B12], Pyridoxine Hydrochloride [Vitamin B6], Riboflavin [Vitamin B2], Chromium Polynicotinate), Magnesium Phosphate, Sodium Ascorbate. CONTAINS MILK AND SOY. †SOURCE OF PROTEIN

If you can link a study involving multiple people and not "one 60 year old man" with a very abnormal diet that had an interaction, i'd love to hear it.
There are more people allergic to sunlight by multiple orders of magnitude that "one 60 year old man"
This holds zero scientific value or weight.

I don't know how you can claim that soy is not a phytoestrogen, its an established fact. How much estrogen a man can consume in their food before noticing side effects can be debated, but why consume estrogen at all if you don't have to? Just google it bro, soy is a uniquely rich natural source of phytoestrogens.

Phytoestrogens are present in certain edible plants being most abundant in soy; they are structurally and functionally analogous to the estrogens. Phytoestrogens have been applied for compensation of hormone deficiency in the menopause.
Straight from the NIH bro. They literally give it to older women to boost their estrogen levels.
