Great deal. I totally should have waited - got this back in April for the $159.99 price Frown We leave it always-on in our Tesla M-Y Juniper (2026) and it fits in the subtrunk perfectly. Don't plan on putting much else in the subtrunk if you have this in there. And make sure not to leave a bunch of stuff on the sides so this can have some room to 'breathe' as it generates heat. We leave the accessory power always-on and the drain is pretty minimal with this. It's very useful and my wife loves effectively having a fridge/freezer in the trunk to keep items cold. Now we don't have to worry so much about groceries or leftovers in case we have other errands to do and want or need to stay out longer. This is a great price and if anyone is considering it, definitely go for it!

Thanks for your input. I have been wanting to get one of this for my Model Y but I am not sure about it being on at all times. I'm guessing there will be lots of water when you turn it off, any spill issues?

I haven't checked lately but there were a couple times where the plug came undone (because I have one of those liners in the subtrunk that has an edge that comes up and can interfere with the plug at times) - I don't recall there being water inside the cooler but I guess it depends on how cold you get it (to the point where there is ice/frost forming). I keep mine at 34F~ so it doesn't really form much ice or frost if any. The downsides on this are 1) the plug can definitely be finicky and 2) the temp controls may not be entirely accurate and I think there likely are "hot" and "cold" spots within the storage compartment itself depending on where you place items (e.g. stuff at the bottom will definitely be colder than the stuff at the top - I think that's true of any cooler but the top insulation on this could likely be better. Maybe the insulated bag that you can get for these would help with that a little)
