I bought just to see if I could do it. Well, it's not as easy as some make it look on youtube, but I was able to make a repair. It was fun, but it only peaked my interest. I then bought this gasless MIG welder https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GGHVHSSF From what I read online, it's easier than portable stick welders. Now I'm adding a welding table 😀

There are gasless MIG welders as cheap as $50. I would have bought one of them first had I known that. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=gasles...elder+110v

It's a flux core welder if you are not using gas. MIG welding literately has the word gas in the name.

Yes, I'm quite new to this so I don't know much, but it has a lot in the title "WELDPRO 140A MIG Welder 110/220V, 2026 Newest 5-in-1 Flux Core Welder, Synergic/Thickness Gasless MIG/Lift TIG/MMA/Spot Welding Machine, IGBT Inverter Welder with Large LED Digital Display, 2T/4T". I guess the type of welding most people do with this is with using flux core wire.

Sorry. Didn't mean to be rude with the last comment. I'm just annoyed on how the sellers purposely misname their product. To dumb it down, MIG will give you a cleaner, more precise, less "ugly" weld while needing gas to do that. Flux core doesn't need gas but it will give you an "uglier" weld than MIG, but stick welding is as "ugly" as it's get but it's straight forward and less complicated.
