I'm definitely not a Chemical Guys fan boy, but looking beyond all the current shade folks throw at them (justifiably in a lot of cases), these are solid mitts. For the price of the Rag Company's MF 2 pack, you can get about 6 of these and essentially use one per panel. If it's all about avoiding scratches and you have the storage, this is a great setup. If Mike Phillips uses the chenille style, I'm on board.

Yeah, there really isn't a use case for most hobbyists to justify the cost of the Korean microfiber mitts from TRC or other manufacturers. Most people who are buying them are keeping up with the joneses or they're detailing as a business and detail higher end cars for clients. There's nothing wrong with the upscale mitts but they're really not that necessary IMO, I use grants mitts on my vehicles and they're perfectly fine.
