I know this is the non pro chip and only 16gb ram but this still seems like a great price unless I'm missing something.

I did some research and this model does not have the improved SSD speed (up to 6gb R/W) , no Wifi7, no new Bluetooth Chip and newer cores. It does have a better screen, way more ports, better speakers.. cou dbe missing some stuff..
I am conflicted myself. M5 air has all these improvements minus the screen.

Just to explain, unicorn doesn't even describe it. One (1) Costco in the world had one (1) specific laptop that a manager had hand-adjusted to $900. It never should have been on Slickdeals, it was just a humble brag that had nothing to do with real life.

Regardless, I disagree with your premise; imo $1199 for a brand new unit is a better deal than an amazon used one for $1127. You would have to be very cheap to make that difference worth it.

$1200+tax =$1290 in FL.
$1205 taxes included FL

Still close to 100ish cheaper. If its like new may be worth it. Its almost like splitting hairs. But close to 100 can go towards apple care ifyou need it. I know costco adds 2 years off the bat.

Still hoping at least an M4 Pro goes on sale for way below 1000.
