I can't speak for the Gold, but Black has been $2+ each for a long time. You could get Red for ~.80 each on a deal, but I've never seen the black that low and I've had price alerts with the Camels setup forever.+

I also agree it's shady with the new shrinkflation angle too. I can't stand that.

Yea i changed my reply. Guess i have been getting red 20 packs for $20 since 2022. I cant find a Black for a buck each since 2021.

I think I just paid $14 for a 18 (4.22oz each) pack of just the kpop ones (which I guess are red since they don't say black on them) at Costco yesterday. They were $4 off whatever regular price is.

Yea black has bone broth packet, it's more robust in flavor less on spice

That's the regular Shin ramyun "red". The black is a more premium ramen. It is not the same item at Costco.
That said, I usually just get the cheaper red and add an egg and some frozen veggies to it for a healthier more filling meal.

Black (beef) and Gold (chicken) are their premium ramen. It's more expensive and the flavor is more rebust.

Once you go black, you never go red.
