While this ssd has good components there is some "rumors" that biwin (the company that provides the components for acer predator) buys reject biwins (nands that have a bad quality or preformance).

Looking at the reviews - i'm happy to take that risk. I can't imagine Acer would stick with a company that would give them bad quality. It ruins both brands reputation. Almost 1500 reviews at 4.8 stars seems really good! I just wish there was different colors as I want it on a white motherboard Big Grin

Well acer aren't the greatest company and companies couldn't care less aboit having bad quality they literally have an ssd with a suicidal controller you think they care if they sold bad quality ssds?

Customer reviews aren't a great source to see if an ssd is good or not (in fact anything not just ssds) most ppl will give a good review if their stuff just works lol,and yeah it is rumors soo nothing garunteed yet i would rather avoid biwin/acer ssds for now but it is your choice after all. If u want u could get any ssd and get a white heatsink for your white motherboard rn for 2tbs i would go for the sn7100 for 290? I think that was the price on amazon i think but there is a aorus gen4 ssd but already has a heatsink (it's bronze 💀) but it is 230 but i wouldn't risk pulling off the heatsink cuz it could pull off the components 😂 (if u want it anyways it's on Newegg

15% is not what I would call much of a sale but seems like that is all we are going to get on these things right now.

I picked one up, the components seem to be quality compared to the crucial p310 which is what I was going to go with (QLC vs TLC), and the TBW is 1500 instead of 300. The reviews seem to be positive and for $100+ less than a Samsung Ive got my fingers crossed.
