I actually had all 3 i listed but stayed with vader 5 pro because of the extra paddles and buttons and was the most comfortable ergonomically. I liked the 8bitdo in second because of the price, steam input, cool rgb, and i liked how light it felt, which some ppl will argue that it means it feels cheap . And for me it was more comfortable than the g7 pro. It does suck how you have to tuck in your shoulders because its not flared out, and a lot of other people agree that its not comfortable. I think the g7 pro has the best analog sticks in the market alomg with 8k polling, but im not that much of competitive gamer to care a lot about. Gamesir has the best software but Id rather use steam input anyway with my Vader 5 pro. Not sure if g7 pro supports steam input. Im more tempted in getting this 8bitdo as a secondary controller but I probably don't need it lol

Agree with everything you said. Having native steam input support is big benefit, and one of the major benefits of both this controller and vader 5 pro. As far I know, the Gamesir g7 pro 8k does not have steam input support, which really pulls it down as a PC controller.
Also, to add - users who prefer to use reWASD (either because struggle with steam input on Gamepass games or for some other benefits of reWASD), would also benefit from that software's support for 8bitdo ultimate 2 and vader 5 pro. As far as I know Gamesir g7 pro 8k is not supported yet.
This might be outdated information since it's been some time since I followed this -- One advantage of 8bitdo over the vader 5 pro seems to be that it has better gyro. Vader 5 Pro's gyro is serviceable but quite a few people complain about big dead zones. Gamesir controller's gyro is also supposed to be very good, but then you have to rely on their own software, and not steam input or rewasd, which are generally more fleshed out controller mapping solutions.
In the end the 8bitdo ultimate 2 wireless is the best controller at this price point I think. It's extremely versatile with Switch support, and native steam input added after initial release.
