Only guarantee is no cracks. I bought a phone from this seller in good condition and it looked like someone took a box cutter to the screen. Also these aren't refurbished. Just heavily used phones that were maybe wiped down.

Just to add my two cents, yes they are simply used. I'm sure there is some measureable way to receive official eBay refurbished status which imo is worth it as you get an actual guarantee.
Maybe 6 months ago I got a graded excellent s23 ultra and it had drop damage on one corner and scratches on one of the camera lenses and body. I sent it back for a replacement. The second one had a nearly mint body and nearly mint camera lenses, but the screen had some micro scratching. Nothing can be seen under a screen protector however. I did win the battery lottery on the second one. The battery had only about 120 charge cycles on it. The first one had 400 or so.
The seller was easy to deal with and the return was not a problem. Only challenge was I had to return the the phone before they issued the replacement. I was kind of hoping to get the replacement first in case the second one was worse. But thankfully the replacement was in better condition minus the screen. But it was so minor it didn't matter to me.

FYI this is the first Galaxy S with a titanium frame, the first Galaxy S with the extended OS support window, the first with a completely flat screen, the first one to not have 10x optical zoom lens and the final one with a Bluetooth S-Pen. So it's in a good spot chronologically.
That being said, I went from an S23U to an S24U to an S25U. The 25 has the best reception If I had to buy a Galaxy S Ultra today, the S24 is the oldest one I'd get.

i bought a 24fe 128gig new for $400 last year.
now, i'm down to 25gigs space.
with 6more years of os upgrades, i'm going to be out of space waaaaay before then.
i really want to get this 24u 512gig but what am i going to do with the 24fe? Wished there was a trade in offer

Use the manage storage utility to see where your storage is going. Most people run out of storage because they refuse to offload old photos and videos (that they hardly ever look at) onto a computer.

it's ssssht what and how they define categories of phones on ebay I only buy from them when I have to do trade in , probably there are sellers with good phones but again is hard to know they way they complicate conditions of phones

Here I am on my Note 20 Ultra with a 1tb microSD card and a ton of other features the new phones don't have.... and I somehow have no scratches on my unprotected screen. I'm never getting rid of this phone.

My absolute favorite phone of all time was probably the Note 10+. Either that or the Note 9. I had the Note 20 Ultra and it was great other than occasional focusing issues on the camera and it was a little top heavy from the camera assembly.

Maybe this is obvious, but I have had great luck with an S10. I am going to pay to have the battery replace but would this S24 be worth upgrading and just having the s10 as a backup?
