I've had this for about 7 or 8 years. One of the first hand vacs with Li-Ion batteries. I think I paid about the same price.

It's still working well with good battery life. My 'secret' is that I rarely fully charge it. Just 20 or 30 minutes of charging at a time. Maybe an hour if I used the vac for 10+ minutes.

Came here to say the same, and to let you know that it wasn't necessary. These batt packs are actually really good. I havent had degradation yet either. Mine's finally broke this yr after my daughter punted it for fun šŸ˜† (the motor, not rhe battery went bad lol)

Which seems so unlike them. I went thru several of their previous, Ni-Cad Dustbusters, due to quick battery degradation.

This is the best hand vacuum you can buy for under $50. Our family has bought 4 of them over 5 years. All work. Battery going strong. No brainer.
