these should be under 1000. I have z fold 6 and this is a pretty good improvement over it, except no stylus support and that is a very good plus to have and the main reason I use samsung. So not having it is a bummer. Well i will get it once the excellent refurbs on ebay drop to 700 range.

People, dont buy phones for 1500 dollars. No fold is worth 2k. You all are just wasting money on a shiny toy that will lose its glimmer in a few days. Then you will self justify spending that much coz you have the latest fold when in reality, you are also thinking "I shouldn't have spent money on this."
Support for apps are weird. Some apps will load with use of the extra space, but most will just zoom in on this as if you are holding a 4" square display phone.
These are good for under 1000. anything above it is rip off. I guess I will take my downvotes.

Have you actually ever owned one or is this just your opinion. People are correct they are too high. Once you use one it's hard to go back to a bar phone. I've had one for 5 years now and the extra real estate is really nice. Try using maps on both and tell me which looks better. I've never once noticed that apps look weird. These are fragile though. That said, I've cracked 4 or so screens on the s20 series and note series phones. The fold screen survived more drops by far.

Owned one, bought last black friday.
It's definitely worth $800. I sometimes still miss the 10x from my previous phone (S23U) and the pen.
But having the folding screen is definitely worth the money equiviliant to an iPhone 17e at MSRP.
No complaints there.
