Why is the price not in the title, like "From $557?"

How does "From $557" help you at all if you're looking for a MacBook or iPad?

It's helpful info if you're looking for the $557 version. I'm a fan of more info than less in the title.

I'm a fan of actually reading the deal to get the facts instead of assuming the title has everything.

I see…you like wasting your time. In your world, NO deal would EVER have the price in the Title or OP…heck, they should just post a link to the end-site without specifying what the product or price is so you can "actually read" a bit more…yeah, let's make it LESS convenient…Yeah, no thanks. I'm a fan of actually getting the most BASIC INFO of ANY deal (price) as early/easily as possible. To each their own I guess, but SD does require prices on all deal posts so I guess they feel it's important…

The other problem with not having prices in the Title is that it's usually intended to get 'clicks' on the deal (as people are curious as they can't see the price without clicking). This artificially increases the 'view count' (of the Deal itself and for the Poster's profile) which contributes to a deal's place in the feed/being labeled "popular," a Poster's standing, etc…

Mountain...meet molehill. If you see the price in the title, be happy. If you don't (which very few are missing it) read the deal. Life is too short to bitch about such small things.

In this case, there are multiple items of all different prices so saying "From $557" is absolutely useless and you wind up clicking the deal anyways.

Pardon me but you replied to me…Thanks for the inappropriate and inaccurate, unhelpful lecture. Life is too short says the person replying to a post you consider about "small things." Actually, I think SD and its integrity depend on people like me pointing out deficiencies in listings. You didn't refute anything I said about it being more convenient to have prices in the title (and as I originally said, could say "FROM $…"). Fact: all deals, even those with multiple items, should have at least a starting price in the title. You stated that you'd rather NOT have the price(s) in the title/op as you enjoy "reading." So, why have prices posted anywhere on SD at all? You'd love that I guess! Also, let's compare your posts to rep ratio to mine…who's making a mountain out of a molehill? And that's not an argument anyway.
