For the few of you that are interested this Google TV streamer 4K has the following Bluetooth codecs: LDAC, AAC, and SBC. Tested it with my Sony and Sennheiser headphones.

The Onn 4K pro has LDAC, aptX, AAC, and SBC.

The Roku Ultra has SBC.

The Apple TV 4K has AAC, SBC.

It's mind boggling that these streamers have the capability but they purposely remove the passthrough audio options. This basically makes it no better than onn pro which you can get for much cheaper.

Yes, that's the main reason I got one as a replacement for my Chromecast with Google TV dongle.

However, I read someone's experience with using it alongside other thread border routers in their home and they said it caused weird issues and they ended up turning the feature off on this device because of it. It might be worth looking into that to see if it's a common issue.

For those unaware, this Google TV Streamer is based on Wifi 5 Protocol and does not support Wifi 6.

There's some "Used - Like New" models that have a discount from the warehouse sale that come out to $50. Having bought some used ones in the past, they looked completely brand new when I received them.
