What is the recommended weight in these? My girlfriend bought me one years back and it must have weight 400 lbs. I couldn't rollover and was honestly hurting my shoulder trying to lift it from underneath. I asked the weight she got and she didn't know. I don't remember what happened to it, but thank god it's gone. I do like weight on me though, so I do genuinely want to know what weights others use.

General rule is 10% of your body weight. If you want to comfortably be able to roll around easily still, I wouldn't go above a 10 lb.

I on the other hand i like em heavy. Yes, if you're sore and try to lift the blanket it's a struggle. Either way the heavier the weight the more deep sleep I get.. idk ymmv

Ps, don't worry, you'll get stronger every morning struggling to lift the blanket off you. Then the 400lb blanket
....
