String string trimmers are just microplastic projectors that litter your property with millions of tiny particles plastic that will not break down for thousands of years so why not just get something with a blade

Which string trimmer/line brand do you know of that is biodegradable? I know rino-tuff and weed warrior are more common alternatives, but it's still nylon, and doesnt breakdown unless in a landfill (basically still microplastics if sitting in backyard)

there's better deals than that even, there's a dozen brands of these, some come with 12 extra spools of line and other goodies.

I bought one for up by the house when I don't want to get my big heavy commercial 2 cycle unit out.

The speed is nowhere near advertised.

The line does not auto feed, you have to stop it, turn it upside down, press a button on the string head, and manually pull the string.

It does an adequate job on regular grass, if you have tough weeds, (like I do out in the country with fields and woods surrounding my place) it will not cut them.

I was pleasantly surprised at how long the batteries last and how lightweight it is.
