Not a bad price, but. . .8GB of RAM for a gaming PC? That seems awfully small

Perfect match for the vid card, honestly.

The unit screams young kids first computer. It'll play some LEGO games and Minecraft just fine.

Considering the prices of used crap I've seen on Craigslist and Marketplace lately, this isn't bad.

Any idea how big the psu is and goes many pci lanes this thing has? I presume pcie gen 5? Might not be bad for an AI pc if u can cram another gpu in there.
Edit: 500w psu. 1 pcie gen 4 lane. I guess maybe this could work for just one nicer gpu.

I boughr an Acer prebuilt gaming PC from 2017 with i7-6700 and rx 480. Rx 480 is 10% slower than the RTX 3050 lol.

Good for-fun deal & for a kid's first gaming PC, I'd imagine RAM is upgradeable. But for my recommendation at least get a 3070 these days for ~$230 lowest or 3060ti <$200. They're 2-2.5x the performance.

Well, the one I ordered after posting this deal turned out to be a dud. HDMI output shows lots of distorted lines and the PC can't boot into Windows at all and just freezes.

Open the case and try to re-seat the graphics card and the RAM and the SSD. Make sure cables / connectors inside are not loose.

Also, perhaps try changing BIOS settings to default.
