My favorite go-to gas tanks are these Easy Cans: https://www.homedepot.c
They make a 5 gallon variant too but they're not as widely available. I've had my older 2.5g can for ~8 years now and all I've ever had to do with it was oil up the thumb button after it started sticking a bit last year.
