Community Reviews

This 27 inch QD OLED gaming monitor stands out for its 240Hz refresh rate, near instant 0.03ms response, and the jump from IPS or VA to OLED contrast and motion clarity. It is especially appealing for fast gaming, with G SYNC compatibility and strong performance in bright rooms for some setups. The main concerns are its modest brightness, around 200 to 400 nits depending on the spec cited, and reports of VRR flicker and banding. It feels like a sharper, faster OLED option, but not the brightest one.

What other models with this 240hz QD-OLED panel are you referencing? I haven't done a ton of research but when I was looking most people were having issues with the new 280hz tandem woled panels having severe banding.

So i pulled the trigger and bought this model because for the price it seemed very decent for what it's offering.

So far the features are fantastic, get's WAY more than bright enough for me in my room with and LED lamp above me.

Gaming on it is fantastic and the G-Sync compat feature is working amazingly.

The only thing i don't like is the flicker but that isn't even that noticeable to me unless im sitting in ONE spot playing a game it fantastic otherwise !
Can you explain what you mean by flicker?

So when using VRR aka Freesync or Gsync it causes the display to flicker due to the fluctuation in Frames or lighting. Causing it to "flicker" it's not super noticeable unless you're standing in one spot tbh but it's annoying once you notice it.

I ended up returning it because even though it was nice to use, i also stream so having long standing static UI's and stuff still made me uneasy. I know it has Pixel Shifting so that it stops it from happening but it was one of those WHEN not IF.

Thanks. Such a bummer though that the technology has this downside. Now that I know about it, I don't think I will be able to "unsee" this.. which is no bueno.
