If there is a "Sketchers" shoe brand, that's the knockoff. The well-known sneaker brand is spelled without a "t."

FYI these are NOT SKETCHERS but a knock off brand with a very similar name. I bought one since its easy returns. for $30 I'll try them

I'm cheap, only ever get Skechers from Costco, and more recently got the even cheaper "S Sport by Skechers" shoes from target.

My questions is, are other brands really worth the premium? Like Nike, Adidas, etc.

I like the lacelss design, and really only care about how comfortable the shoe is.

Not Nike or Adidas. A lot models from Nike and Adidas are garbage. Brands like Brooks and Saucony are higher priced, but worth the premium to some folks. If you really want a high quality sneaker, go to a running store and try a few on to see what works for your foot.
