Bought this 2-pack back in March of the year at the same price to add to my flashlight collection. I thought at the time that I would use it as an EDC due to its flat and small size. However due to all my flashlights, found I didn't carry it everyday and have even given the 2nd one away. Nevertheless it is a unique design and recommend it for its utility -- but only if you have already purchased one of the cheaper $5 regular LED flashlights featured already in SD.

It really isn't as practical as people think.

It depends on your needs. Under certain conditions if can be more useful than a normal, cylindrical flashlight. Let's compare it to the popular $5 TrixHub TH300 flashlight. First of all the Rechoo is extremely smaller, thiner, and lighter than the TrixHub -- only about 1/3 inch thick and 4.4 in high compared to the 1 in width and 6.45 in height of the TrixHub and lighter at 1.3 oz compared to 6.7 oz. So these qualities make the Rechoo much easier to carry in your pocket. Additionally the Rechoo has a convenient clip which you can attach to your pocket, a strap, or to the brim of a hat. There is also a magnetic base on the Rechoo, convenient if you are working on a car, refrig, etc. Lastly there is a large 5-function side light on the Rechoo -- High, Low, Turbo; Red LED; and red/blue strobe mode. The main advantage the TrixHub has is the ability to change the focal point and beam width with its sliding flashlight head. Bear in mind this is usually the most important function of a flashlight. So you should probably have a regular flashlight before you consider this unique Rechoo light.

Hey, it's a $6 flashlight, I really feel you didn't need to expend that much time and energy in a response.

that's harsh. i honestly feel like some of my most well researched and agonized over purchases were sub $10 buys.
