There is also a tool-free depth of drive adjustment that allows for proper setting of nail heads. Great for window, door and cabinet trim, this Brad Nailer is the perfect addition to any carpenter or DIYer's tool collection. These are notorious for not working after several shots and have many videos on how to take it apart and oil it to remedy the problem.
I had to do this but also noticed that there is a slight delay between pressing the trigger and shooting the nail and you can't ease the trigger until the nail has fully shot. This seems to help alot.
I have the dewalt one as well and it is much better.
For most ryobi vs dewalt I find them comparable in function though not in build quality but for the nail gun there is a huge difference in nails getting jammed or malfunctioning.
