Anyone that uses phillips #2 bits a lot, do you prefer the 3.5" ones that was in earlier deal or these 1"? Curious of the advantage/disadvantage of either. Are the 3.5" just better for sinking or unscrewing a screw sunk deeper into the wood?

The longer bits are generally more convenient for screw removal rather than application. They are great for getting to screws that have been buried, for sure.

If you're inserting screws you're often going to want a magnetic bit extension, and one of those 3.5" bits inserted into a ~2" or longer bit extension makes for awkward/wobbly drilling.

You should also note that these are a P2R bit (instead of the standard P2), they're more specialized, and can be a looser fit with some common phillips screws. I like using them with drywall screws, primarily, but will use a standard P2 for a lot of other stuff.
