Have ring and don't want it anymore, want something else like EUFY, but been hearing mixed reviews about it.

I came from ring to eufy, and i will say. The cameras are much better than anything ring offered back in February. The setup was pretty straight foward and have not had any issues with ring cameras turnning off randomly. Had this is for 6 months woth ring cameras while 5 feet from an accesspoint. Did everything to try to resolve it but it randomly occured to all cameras. Suprisingly the ones closes tonthe aps failed more often.

The viewing experience isnt anywhere close to ring. It may be because i dont pay for the cloud experience but loading videos take a while and i know its not my internet speeds. The hard drive cost a pretty penny but also has the fast read write speeds an hybrid could have. Sometimes the watch videos are difficult because the apps seems to hate pausing videos mid watch. I work in tech so not an issue with me but its a lot more critical thinking thing ring overall. the app and cameras feature bug and have never been fixed. snapshots dont work, unless i uninstall and reinstall the app and it only works for a few minutes.

If i had to do it again i may have looked at arlo. I wasnt going to pay people to run cat 6a all across the house to hard wire anything on a place i am renting.
